Carter Matthews began his journey into music production at the age of 15 when took his first course writing and recording music with Pro Tools. He was soon introduced to Ableton Live which he has spent over 12 years mastering. In Denver he began performing his music live under the name Toy Box. His production skills have allowed him to produce music for UFC, perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and work with other artists like Illenium and Said the Sky. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Recording Arts after studying at Denver University and the University of Colorado Denver. His music spans a range of popular styles and has been streamed millions of times. He has a Level 1 Sound Formation Method™ Teacher Certification in Music Production and Piano.
