Rob Brandon, Teacher

Rob Brandon is a drummer and percussionist. While growing up he took lessons from talented Berklee graduate Lou Lacava and is finishing up a very extensive five year undergraduate percussion study at the University of Colorado Denver, with his teacher Thomas VanSchoick. Thomas who studied for many years under world renown percussionist Michael Spiro has given Rob an extremely dense pallet of Afro-Cuban percussion skills to work with. Including extensive knowledge on congas, timbales, bongo, bata, checkere, guiro, and more. Rob has worked with Michael Spiro, Ruben Alvarez, Allison Miller, and other well known drummers and percussionists.
